It's summer! And it is an exciting time here in Jamaica!
I have quite a lot to say this month! But I promise, I'll cut to the chase :-)
Yes indeed, Usain Bolt was beaten yesterday by Yohan Blake ("The Beast"). I have that (below), but I also want to share something crazy (but fun) with you.
I'm having a "Non-Best" winner for the Jamaica 50 hubbub we have running :-). So now you have no excuse not to enter :-) In fact, I'm looking to see your entry now OK? Come on my friend, join in; it's fun! I'm waiting :-)
I'll also share information on the dramatic Jamaica Military tattoo that's happening right now, Reggae Sumfest and the Portland Jerk festival.

Usain Bolt Beaten by 'Beast'!
"Usain Bolt is not used to standing on the silver medal podium, but that's exactly where he was during the 100m medal ceremony last night at the National Athletics Trials, as Yohan Blake, nicknamed 'The Beast', produced the run of his life, to win in a stadium-record 9.75 and, in the process, hand his training partner his first-ever 100m loss in Jamaica" Read on here.... Military Tattoo Wow Spectators
"The Jamaica Defence Force's (JDF) Polo Field at Up Park Camp became a parade ground for the execution of marches, physical training drills, rescue demonstrations and for enjoying the musical prowess of the various groups.
