Hi anyone, if possible please help find some information.

I am 27 years old my name is Charmaine Morgan and I've never met my father.

I don't have much information on him I don't even know his first name. I only know that he use to fix the roads on Appleton Avenue around the year 1981 to 1982 to 83 there about.

I was born in 1982. My mother's name is Jean Ferguson she met him while he was working on the road and she had five other kids before me.

He supposedly to be tall and brown skin according to my mother and from LAVERN TAVERN STONEY HILL area.

My mother left Appleton avenue around 1989 or so and then I was adopted in 1991. She had said that a friend told her that my father went back to Appleton Avenue around 1989 0r 1990 or so, to look for my mother but we had already left, and also that he had migrated to the USA or some where overseas perhaps some time after.


I was adopted to a lovely blessed family from Antigua and Barbuda also in the Caribbean. I am currently living and studying in Beijing China.

I would be more than grateful if any one who my have known him could help. Maybe if I have a brother or a sister who have head him speak of those times or if hear him ever mention he might have another child some where. Please help me. I just would like to know who he is and what he looks like.

We changed jobs but we kept in touch for many years. I married and moved to Italy. Valerie came to visit me at my parents' home in the UK as she was staying with her grandmother in Nottingham.

At that time she was living in the Bronx USA. We corresponded for many years. Due to health problems she moved to Florida. We corresponded still until one day we no longer wrote to each other.

She would be 59/60 now - my age. I have been searching for her for many years now. I returned to the UK 10 years ago with my husband and 3 boys and so long to find her.

I am trying to build a family tree of my son's family. My Dad's side of the family is posing me some difficulty.

If you know of our family and have Birth/Death and name details that will help, please get in touch.

Here is what I remember being told:

My dad had a number of sisters and brothers. Kissock (who now lives in Florida USA. He has a daughter Collette (40's), and sons Raymond (40/50?) and Everton (60?). Kissock may have more.); Everald (Raldy) who passed in November 2002 (Raldy has a daughter called Janice who will be in her 40's now); Ezra who passed in 2001, Pearl (who I believe has passed at sometime around the turn of this century), Belle who lived in New York/New Jersey in the 1970's and has a son called David who would be in his 40's now. In addition, I remember ladies called Valerie and Theodora, who may be sisters or cousins and Neville?

My grandmother's name is Louise. Louise passed in 1979. I don't know the name of my granddad, but I remember he passed in 1977. My grandparents passed between 24 and 27 Dec if I recall correctly.

Ned/Ricky grew up in a house called Flamstead, which I believe is/was in Lucea, Hanover, Jamaica.

Apparently, the house was all but destroyed by Hurricane Gilbert in 1988. I remember him telling me about the orange grove and 'honey' bananas that grew there and the mule he used to try and ride, but would throw him off.

My dad's paternal great grandfathers were Irish and Scottish (Church of Scotland Minister, this is where the family name originates). I think my dad's grandfather was called Samuel Miller.

If I remember correctly my grandmother Louise may have had the surname of either Malcolm or Campbell.


I'd really appreciate any information that will fill in the details as far back as possible. As I've mentioned, I want this information to provide as detailed a picture as possible for my son. I'm finding it very hard to get birth certificates from anywhere. If you have information on where I can search Birth/Death certificates of citizens of Hanover, Jamaica I would be grateful if you could let me know too. Any info, please reply to this post.

Unfortunately I do not have much information - the only information I have so far is very scanty and vague.

All I know the family name is Hinds either from St Ann's or St Catherine. Mother's name maybe Josephine Hinds, born St Catherine.

I am searching for this lady's son whose name is Clement Hinds or Clement Jacob Hinds, I understand he grew up in the Salt Lane/Slip Pen area, Kingston.

Was in the Police Force, Kingston was married, divorced, then became a butcher, but from all the articles I have read there seems to be some link with the two family names, CLARKE/HINDS but I cannot piece them together because of the vague information I currently hold, somewhere along the line the country Scotland crops up on several occasions, possibly this is where Clement Hinds' father originated from.

It is further understood this gentleman had a daughter when he was aged somewhere between 47 or 57 - she could be in her 60's.

I am trying to trace my father; his name is Isaac Williams. My name is Milton Williams and I live in Nottingham, England; I am currently 56 years old.

My father use to live in Nottingham UK before travelling back home to Jamaica. In England he lived at 20 Beryl Road, Sherwood, Nottingham; in the years 1990/1992 approx.
