I'm retiring in Jamaica and loving it!

During one of her small family get together she realized how refreshing and inspirational it was. She realized that the experience she had can only happen in Jamaica. We began our plan to stop our spending and pay down all our debts to close our life in North Carolina, US, and return home.
After retiring early, on June 1st, 2019 my wife, 20-year-old daughter and I arrived in Montego Bay. We had built a small two-bedroom house in Priory St Ann.
My daughter returned after the summer to continue her education and my wife and I are loving Jamaica and retiring in Jamaica with absolutely no regrets

First and foremost, I want to express my condolences for your wife's aunt's passing back in 2009. But it is heartening to hear how that experience led to such a transformative decision for you and your family.
It's stories like yours that truly capture the unique and special essence of this country and your decision to retire here speaks volumes.
