Yes, it is indeed a special day today here my friend. In fact, the entire weekend into next Wednesday (Independence Day, August 6th)
We do also have a lot of activities going on, including: Mello Go Roun, The Ska Festival, the Dutchie Food Festival, Literary Festival, and the Grand Gala on August 6th at the National Stadium in Kingston.
