The use of marijuana is currently decriminalized, which means that it's no longer a criminal offense to possess small amounts of it for personal use, but note personal use only.
However, there are some additional things to keep in mind:
Legal Dispensaries: There are registered dispensaries on the island where you can purchase marijuana legally. They adhere to the regulations set by the Jamaican government and offer a safe and controlled environment for obtaining cannabis products.
Farm Tours: As you mentioned, there are specialized farm tours available. These tours provide a unique opportunity to learn about the cultivation and production of marijuana in Jamaica. They can be an educational and interesting experience.
Local Hustlers: While some individuals may approach you on touristy streets offering marijuana, it's important to be cautious if you choose this route.
