Blue Hole Attraction in St Mary Jamaica

Good day everyone:

This is Cheryl from St Andrew and just this morning at work, I heard about this fascinating place that has truly captured my interest and has also expanded my 'bucket list' of places to go in Jamaica :)

It is called Blue Hole and I am going to say that I do not want anyone responding to say that it is in Ocho Rios.

I have a pet peeve where it seems Ocho Rios aka 'Ochi' seems to want to have everything in its parish.

So please, my fellow readers, do NOT say that this beautiful place is in St. Ann - it is in St. Mary :-)

What I have heard from someone who has gone there is that it is outside this town in ST MARY :) called 'Labyrinth'.

He says it is a place that you just have to know how to get there, lol, in other words, sounds like it is difficult to just reel out directions :-)

I asked him if it is for rafting and he says..."no, it is solely for swimming and there are waterfalls also".

"Wow" I gushed and I just imagined the girls and myself having an absolutely whale of a time there :)

So, if anyone has heard of this place, could you tell me more about it - how big is it, distance from that particular town, the history aah the history, I think that is what I really want to know.

Well, going to roll up my sleeves and attend to my desk - catch you guys later...

I actually found a picture and included it above for you and I am hearing that this now the #1 water attraction in northern Jamaica!

Blue Hole in St Mary is one of my favourite spots.
My family and I regularly visit to unwind, relax, recuperate, be entertained, and to give thanks to the Almighty God; confident that as beautiful as this area is, heaven is much more beautiful.

Mr. Wellesley,
Your website is truly awesome. You left no stones unturned.Our culture & people are wonderfully amazing. Not to mention the sites & sounds, beaches and Blue Hole? That's a mystery & a well kept secret (if it's in St Mary). However, one thing I know for sure, it's in Jamaica. I'm sure that's where I saw the couple from the Bachelor (US TV show- that had it's finale in Jamaica Monday night). And I was wondering where in Jamaica that was. It seemed like an exclusive rain forest with this Blue hole.
The couple were amazed at how beautiful & blue the water was, and they jumped right in!
Anyway, whether the Blue hole is in St Mary or St Ann, I plan to find out, find it, and enjoy it.
Oh, by the way, just spoke with my sister, she thinks Blue hole is in Robins Bay in St Mary. Well, walk good, see you later, ta taaa
